Amitabh Bachchan has said he is taking a short break from social media after doctors advised him to rest for a few days.
In a post on X, the actor apologised to fans and said he would not be able to write anything for now. He did not disclose the nature of the medical issue.
Earlier this month, Bachchan skipped his opening monologue on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 and mentioned that he had fallen on the set, pointing to his left knee.
The actor continues to host the quiz show and is set to return as Ashwatthama in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
