Folk dances, puppet shows and light-and-sound displays are lined up at the Mewar stronghold.
The Kumbhalgarh Festival is expected to be held from December 1 to 3 at Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district, according to travel listings.
The festival brings folk artists from across Rajasthan to perform traditional dances and music against the backdrop of the hilltop fort, along with puppet shows, heritage walks and light-and-sound shows.
Built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha of Mewar, Kumbhalgarh is famous for its massive walls, among the longest in the world, and is part of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan World Heritage site.
The festival is organised by the state tourism department to promote the region's culture and heritage, and is a popular stop for visitors touring Udaipur and nearby areas.
