The second instalment of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash's epic needs more shooting time, a report says.
The second part of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, has reportedly been pushed from Diwali 2027 to Diwali 2028, according to a trade report.
The makers had planned to release the two parts on consecutive Diwalis. The first part remains on track for release next month.
The delay is attributed to the action design taking longer than planned, as the director and producer Namit Malhotra want original action set pieces. The report puts the overall budget at Rs 3,000 crore.
The makers have not officially confirmed the change, which is expected to be revealed after the first film's release.
